andrea manciniRoberto Mancini’s son Filippo has accused both Erik Thohir and the current majority shareholders Suning of being businessmen who don’t understand what it means to run Inter.

The former Manchester City player’s dad left the Nerazzurri before the start of the 2016-17 season and was replaced by Frank De Boer.

“Dad has always done his best for Inter, he loves the team and he wouldn’t have gone back otherwise,” said Mancini to FcInter1908.it.

“He was used to a different type of football with different presidents who were really attached to their clubs.

“Things changed with the arrival of Thohir and then the Chinese.

“These are people used to business and not football, I had the feeling that they didn’t really understand who Inter are, a club who were second to none until recently.

“Dad was left really badly off and without a contact in the club who told him how things really were.”
