AC Milan man Carlos Bacca an improved deal worth €5 million a year in order to persuade him to move to England.

The Hammers have been linked with Bacca for several weeks this summer and are willing to pay up to €30 million to Milan, but have failed to agree personal terms with the player so far, as he would prefer to play in Champions League.

According to Pianeta Milan, Bacca has spent the weekend talking with his agent Sergio Barila regarding his future and appears ready to reopen negotiations over a possible switch to West Ham.

The 29-year-old would ideally prefer to move to Paris Saint-Germain and reunite with his former coach at Sevilla, Unai Emery, but the Parisians are yet to come up with an offer for the striker.

The Colombian international moved to Milan in summer 2015 from Sevilla and was third best goal-scorer in Serie A last term, with 18 goals.
