Inter on Sunday evening will be beneficial after a 100 per cent start to the season.
The Bianconeri lost 2-1 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the first Derby d’Italia of the season, despite Stephan Lichtsteiner giving Juventus taking the lead after 66 minutes as Mauro Icardi equalised just two minutes later, before Ivan Perisic scored the winner with 12 minutes to go.
“You have to see the positive side, this defeat will do us good because it burns inside,” Allegri told Premium Sport.
“We made too many mistakes, we were wrong a lot from a technical point of view.
“We lost after three games, it would have been nice to have 12 points but we have to come back down to earth.”
Allegri will hope his side bounce back on Wednesday night when they host Cagliari, while Inter travel to Empoli.
