Zlatan Ibrahimovic Manchester UnitedManchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic hopes to end his career in Serie A with Napoli, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.

The former Swedish international moved to Old Trafford this summer from French club Paris Saint-Germain, and has previously played for Juventus, Inter and AC Milan in the Italian league.

“Ibrahimovic told me that he could end his career at Napoli,” Raiola told Radio CRC.

“I don’t mean to say that [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis has contacted me about a possible transfer.

“What I can say is that no Italian club could afford Zlatan, but surely the Swede has a Neapolitan mentality.”

Raiola then discussed another of his clients, Mario Balotelli, revealing how he didn’t want to take him back to Italy after a disappointing loan spell at AC Milan from Liverpool.

“I didn’t want him to continue playing in Italy, it would have been an alibi for him,” he said.

However, he did hint at the possibility that the 26-year-old could also appear for the Partenopei in the future.

“Certainly for Mario, Naples is a special city because his daughter lives there,” said Raiola.

Should both Balotelli and Ibrahimovic play for Napoli at the same time, it would be a reunion after they were in the same team at Inter.
