Inter reportedly had a huge offer for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez rejected by Los Blancos.
The Spanish giants are currently under a transfer embargo, but Rodriguez has recently been linked with a big move to the English Premier League, however he could have completed a transfer to Serie A this summer.
According to Sports Illustrated, the Nerazzurri offered Real Madrid €85 million for the 25-year-old’s services, but the Madrid management decided they wanted to keep him at all costs.
The Colombian international moved to Madrid in 2014 after his star performances at the World Cup in Brazil earlier that summer, and has since scored 25 goals in 82 games.
He has also played in France for Ligue 1 side Monaco, having previously played for Porto in Portugal, while he started his career at Colombian club Envigado.
