Italy drop out of top 10 in latest FIFA rankings

barzagli de rossi parolo italyItaly have dropped out of the top 10 and moved down three places to 13th in the latest set of FIFA rankings, with Argentina remaining on top.

Since the conclusion of Euro 2016, the Azzurri were beaten 3-1 by France in an international friendly and claimed a victory over Israel in their opening World Cup qualifier, and those results coupled with the actions of other international sides have led to them falling to 13th place.

The top two countries are still Argentina followed by Belgium, while Germany have overtaken Colombia and Brazil complete the top five.

Chile, Portugal and France follow, and Italy dropping to 13th have allowed them to be overtaken by England, Uruguay, and Wales, who have reached the top 10 for the first time in a year.

Spain have dropped to 11th despite their huge 8-0 victory over Liechtenstein, while Croatia and Mexico complete the top 15.

The worst mover in the whole rankings list was the Central African Republic, who dropped 35 places to 122nd, while Bolivia climbed the same number to make them the best mover.
