Following remarks about his move to French club Nice, Mario Balotelli has hit back at former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher.
The Italian international completed a deadline day move to the Ligue 1 side on a free transfer, before Carragher said that he sees a free transfer as being too expensive for the 26-year-old’s services.
Balotelli has now responded to this claim on his Twitter account, labelling Carragher as ‘bad player’ and a ‘wonderful hater’.

The striker will hope to somewhat revitalise his career while in France, after failing to break through in the English Premier League and having an unsuccessful loan spell at AC Milan last season.
He scored just three goals in 23 games for the Rossoneri last term in all competitions, having managed just one Premier League goal for Liverpool during the 2014/15 season.
