Antonio Candreva could potentially be leaving Inter but he reportedly would prefer a transfer to Fiorentina than a move to either Sampdoria or Genoa.

The 33-year-old winger has one year left on his contract with the Nerazzurri, and with the arrival of Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid as well as the improved form of Danilo D’Ambrosio, the former Italian international might have to look for more playing time elsewhere.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Genoa and Inter are having discussions regarding the transfer market, predominantly about young striker Andrea Pinamonti, but Candreva has also been in the conversation.

Sampdoria are looking to improve in the wide positions for Claudio Ranieri’s 4-4-2 formation and the 33-year-old could suit the system implemented by the Doriani coach.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina have assessed Candreva’s situation and might consider acquiring him, while the player would prefer a move to Florence over Liguria.

Candreva scored five goals and provided eight assists in 32 Serie A matches in 2019/20.
