The 2012-2013 Serie B champions recently signed a two-year rent deal with Lega Pro Prima Divisione A side Reggiana, who own the venue.

The agreement struck with Reggiana will also include infrastructural improvements, including new benches and locker rooms, along with the development of new marketing and trade policies, which aim to take advantage of the business opportunities that come with the club’s Serie A promotion.

For the past five seasons, Sassuolo have been playing their home games at Modena’s Stadio Alberto Braglia, and the club thanked the Canarini on their official website for their willingness to share the stadium.

The Stadio Citta del Tricolore is about 25 kilometres north of Sassuolo and seats 20,084 people, which is slightly less than the Stadio Braglia’s maximum capacity of 21,151.

Sassuolo also announced that they will still be holding training at their actual home stadium, the small Stadio Enzo Ricci, for organisational reasons.

The 22-year-old is co-owned between the Partenopei and Brescia, but Napoli are ready to purchase the remainder of his rights for a fee of €2 million.

Despite being highly rated by Brescia owner Luigi Corioni, El Kaddouri struggled for playing time last season, only making seven appearances for Napoli.

As a result, Tuttomercatoweb report that the Azzurri are looking to send him out on loan next season, with Chievo the favourites to land the Belgian-Moroccan footballer.

Palermo are also interested in his services, but incoming Flying Donkeys coach Giuseppe Sannino is intent on bringing the former Anderlecht youth product to Verona.

Despite making two appearances for the Belgian Under 21 team, El Kaddouri represented the Moroccan Olympic team at last years London games.

Napoli striker Emanuele Calaio is set to leave the Azzurri this summer according to the player’s agent.

The 31-year-old joined from Siena in January, but went on to only make six appearances for the club.

With new coach Rafa Benitez looking to bring in new players, Calaio is set to depart the Partenopei with Torino showing interest in his services.

“Emanuele will leave Napoli, he is not part of Benitez’s plans,” Umberto Calaio told Tuttomercatoweb.

“We have already received several encouraging signs from other clubs.

“Torino? It would be like returning to the beginning, a welcome return. We will see. Emanuele has a lot of suitors.

Calaio started his career with the Granata, playing for them from 1999 to 2002.

The 23-year-old has been linked with moves to Inter and Roma in recent weeks thanks to his impressive performances for the Brazilian side.

Lancenet report that the Partenopei have shown interest in signing the shot stopper and are willing to offer better wages than their Serie A rivals.

An offer of €5 million would be enough to secure the youngster, who could be the long term solution to the ageing Morgan De Sanctis.

The Azzurrini starting ‘keeper has helped his team get into the UEFA Under-21 European Championship final against Spain with some impressive saves, but hasn’t been given much of a chance in his career to build his talents in Italy’s top league.

Bardi spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport about his desire to grow more as player, preferably in Serie A.

“Nobody from Inter has called me,” said the 21-year-old.

“I think that they would like to send me to gain experience at another club and I would prefer that solution.

“If that team is in Serie A then that would be better.”

Italy’s Under-21 squad have been showcasing their skills throughout their European Championship campaign, but many of the players still belong to Serie B clubs.

“There needs to be a change of mentality in Italy,” he continued. “Us Under-21 boys can have our say in the Italian top flight.”

Bardi was first signed by Inter in 2011 through a co-ownership deal with Livorno and played with their Under-20 youth squad for part of the 2010-2011 season. He was returned to Livorno for the 2011-2012 campaign, then fully bought out by the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2012, and sent on loan to current club Novara.

The 26-year-old has been with PSV since 2011 where he has greatly impressed and now Rafa Benitez is looking to bring him to Serie A with Napoli.

“Napoli would be an excellent experience for him,” the winger’s agent told Nieuwsblad.

“It would be a new country for him, a new experience and he will also be able to play in the Champions League.”

Mertens has scored an impressive 37 times in 62 appearances for the Dutch outfit but looks open to the possibility of plying his trade elsewhere with the Partenopei a likely destination.

PSV are said to value the Belgian international for around  €9.5 million.

The Serbian wide man, 21, has has an excellent season scoring eleven goals in the league. The player’s contract expires in 2014 meaning that  he could potentially leave the Viola for nothing in twelve months time.

Tuttomercatoweb.com relaid details of a interview Ljajic did with with Serbian television’s RTV where he spoke about his future and the fact that he was all set to move to Manchester United when he was a teenage but they pulled out of the deal at the last minute.

“I do not know why I was not acquired by United, but this allowed me to get into Serie A with Fiorentina. I’m happy with the choice, I’m in Florence very well, I still have a contract for another year, we’ll see what happens,” he said.

“The league which just ended was very important, especially in the second round because I was able to score for 10 times while also providing many assists to my teammates.”

Ljajic is currently not being considered for the Serbian national team due to a dispute with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The Bianconeri are ready to buy the other half of the rights to the 21-year-old striker from Atalanta before selling him to Sampdoria.

According to sport.panorama.it, Juventus want to offer Gabbiadini to the Blucerchiati in exchange for fellow striker Simone Zaza and Vasco Regini. 

Both Sampdoria players have spent the last season out on loan to Serie B sides and seem reluctant to return to Genoa.

Officials from Juventus and Atalanta met in Milan on Monday evening to discuss the destination of Gabbiadini, who played for Bologna on loan last season but is co-owned by the two clubs.

Gabbiadini is currently in Israel with the Italian under-21 national team, who will play against Spain in the final of the European Under-21 Championship on Tuesday night.

Borini endured a miserable first season at Anfield  due to injuries last season which kept him out of action for the majority of the yea.

However, recent speculation has stated that Rafa Benitez is interested in bringing the Italian back to his homeland.

Despite the recent gossip his agent has denied that talks have taken place regarding his client’s future.

“The Azzurri have not called me so that is why at this time a move is not an option,” Raffaele Auriemma told Radio CRC.

“The player left at the age of 16 because at the time Bologna did not think he was important. A chance arose and we took advantage of it.

“Parma did well last season to sign him on a free transfer and then sell half his rights to Roma. Then a situation arose and we were in agreement that he should go to Liverpool.”

Borini is currently playing with the Azzurrini at the U-21 European Championships where he made headlines for scoring the winner in Italy’s semi-final clash against the Netherlands.
