Frosinone continued their trend of not scoring against Atalanta as they drew 0-0 on Saturday evening at the Stadio Matusa in Serie A.

The top-flight new boys have not broken the Dea defence in any of their last three games, and despite being arguably the better team for most of the 90 minutes, they failed to break that unwanted record.

Frosinone were undoubtedly the better team in the opening section of the game but the finishing touches were not evident and it remained goalless, despite several chances coming their way.

It was Jasmin Kurtic of Atalanta who had the best chance of the first half for the visitors with a good effort from an overhead kick but it went off target.

Collective gasps came from the Canarini faithful had their heads in their hands just after 30 minutes when Federico Dionisi had a good chance on the edge of the penalty area but his effort fizzed wide of the post.

Disappointing finishing continued through into the second half with just one real attempt threatainging either keeper before the hour mark.

One final chance came five minutes before the final whistle for Alejandro Gomez of Atalanta, when he somehow put a volley from a few yards out wide.

The dull draw means Frosinone remain in 19th place in the Serie A league table, while Atalanta are still sitting in 12th.
