With the year almost at an end we look back at a collection of footballing moments that have tickled our tastebuds over the last 12 months.
1. Referee punches player and causes a riot
The referee sends off a player in this Chilean second division match but for some unknown reason he objects to the player’s protestations and punches the player in the face, his teammates are not happy with the referee so then all go after the referee. The referee then attempts to outrun 20 angry footballers.

5. Hilarious own goal and team mate knockout
Irish CCFL Division 3 teams Melville Celtic and Ballymahon B. Not only does the goalie hit his own player and the ball loops back into the net, but he strikes him so hard that it knocks him out.
