Roma Takeover Update

American tycoon Thomas Di Benedetto is heading a deal to buy the Sensi family and Unicredit bank out of Roma.

The club its self released a statement through President Attilio Zimatore: “Things are proceeding well in takeover talks with Di Benedetto. The American flew in yesterday for talks, which are reportedly reaching a conclusion.”

Zimatore was also asked when negotiations would finish. “There will be a statement released either tonight or tomorrow morning, but things are going well.”

La Gazzetta dello Sport have also stressed that the Serie A side are part of the stock exchange, so if negotiations finish today. They will have to announce it by the time markets close.
