The Italian Football FanCast is the podcast for fans of Serie A and Calcio.
On this edition of the Italian Football FanCast, we look back at a decisive week for the Scudetto race and the first casualty at the other end of the table.
Dov Schiavone is joined, as always, by Kris Voakes live from Milan, but our roving reporter Paolo Rusmini cannot be with us, however, we welcome ESPN and Al Jazeera commentator Owen Neilson to the show once more.
Milan triumphed over Brescia thanks to a late Robinho goal, which all but wrapped up the title as Napoli were defeated by Palermo despite taking an early lead through Edinson Cavani, though Inter came back from a goal down to usurp Lazio at the San Siro.
In the race for Europe, Udinese suffered a shock home defeat to Parma with Amauri bagging a brace, and Roma put some pressure on their city rivals Lazio with an easy victory over Chievo, though they should have won by more than one goal.
Finally, the pressure at the bottom is growing, but we have good news for Sampdoria fans as they registered a win, but it meant Bari are now officially relegated leaving only two more spots for a place in Serie B next year.
