Today at 2.30pm bidding will begin on an on-line auction for the football boot Antonio Di Natale was wearing on February 5, 2011 when, at 6.40pm, he scored his 100th goal with Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.

The auction will end at 2.30pm on May 20, 2011, and will be delivered to the highest bidder by the Udinese captain himself on the pitch at the Stadio Friuli before the final Serie A match between Udinese and Milan on May 22.

Along with the boot, there is a plate with goal data and the photo of the moment right after the strike was made by Friulian photographer Stefano Frantz (foxsport.it).

No one had ever thought of making such a work before. Ideaprototipi, from Basiliano, managed to freeze both space and time. Thanks to Ideaprototipi, the precious shoes (the left one has been given to the player) have been frozen and suspended into a crystalline see-through solid cube.

Ideaprototipi prepared two rooms to put the precious shoes in, and using a slow vacuum process, substituted air with the crystalline compound. The high precision process also enabled Ideaprototipi to fix some ground fragments – coming from Friuli pitch in Udine.

To take part in the auction, you are needed to have an ebay account. The link to the auction is below:
