Gossip: Arsenal Striker Set For Juventus and Tevez On The Move To Serie A

In today’s Gossip Column, we have a couple of interesting moves involving Juventus as they begin their assault on the transfer market, a price is set for Carlos Tevez and Inter are set to lose an Italian youngster.

It seems that Juventus’ never ending search for a striker could well be over with the £8 million signing of Arsenal’s Nicklas Bendtner. Apparently frustrated at a lack of first-team opportunities he will be looking for a move to the continent in the summer with the Old Lady hot on his tail. Quite what Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Vincenzo Iaquinta, Luca Toni, Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri have to say about that is another thing.

Carlos Tevez tried to leave Manchester City in the January transfer window but was persuaded to stay at Eastlands, now it seems City boss Roberto Mancini is willing to part with his captain in the summer for the princely sum of £50 million, a figure no Italian club can afford. However, both Inter and Juventus are interested but may have to include players in any deal that brings Tevez to the peninsula.

N’Zogbia to Juventus

Juventus are planning a busy summer as Clubcall.com are reporting that Wigan winger Charles N’Zogbia will be making the move to Turin for around £10 million. Although the Latics want to keep him at the DW Stadium, the Frenchman is refusing to sign an extension to his contract which expires next summer, thus they Premier League side are looking to cash in.

Udinese to take Santon from Inter

After spending the second half of the season on loan at Cesena, it seems Davide Santon’s Inter career is over as Udinese are looking to take him from Inter in the summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of a potential European campaign.
