5. Mathieu Flamini (AC Milan)

The Frenchman’s endured a tough few years at Milan after breaking through at Arsenal, struggling to compete with the likes of Gennaro Gattuso and Massimo Ambrosini for the midfield battler role. However, it may be his goal just eight minutes into their game against Bologna that’s sealed the Scudetto for Milan, as they now need just two points to make the league returning to the San Siro a certainty.

4. Aleandro Rosi (AS Roma)

The Roma substitute appeared in the 94th minute of the best game of the weekend to sneak Roma a 3-2 win over bottom-placed Bari, despite going behind twice and having Daniele De Rossi and Simeone Perotta sent off.

3. Alessio Cerci (Fiorentina)

The youngster makes it onto the list for the second week in a row after scoring another two goals. The Italian put the shine on Fiorentina’s 5-2 win over an Udinese side that appears to have finally ran out of steam.

2. Gaetano D’Agostino (Fiorentina)

The Fiorentina playmaker got two goals against the club he left last summer in their 5-2 win over Udinese.

1. Giampaolo Pazzini (Inter Milan)

As time was ticking away towards an embarrassing loss to relegation-threatened Cesena, the striker popped up with two goals in injury time to earn Inter a 2-1 win in Emilia-Romagna.
