Tonight Barcelona will face AC Milan at San Siro hoping to win and qualify as group winners with one game to spare.

Certainly all eyes will be on the meeting between Barça coach Pep Guardiola and Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who heavily criticised his former coach on his recently published autobiography.

“I repeat what I’ve said before, when Ibrahimovic was with us he helped us win La Liga with 99 points, he is a great player,” Guardiola said in today’s press conference.

“If I meet him I’ll greet him, I say again that I have no problems with him. Coming to play at San Siro against Milan and being considered a great team is always an honor for us.”

On assistant coach Tito Vilanova, who has been operated to his gland, the coach said: “I’d like to be closer to his family, at the moment his health is more important than the first place in the table. He was subjected to a very long surgery but now he’s doing well.”

Guardiola concluded with a comment on his dedication of the team’s 2009 Champions League victory to then-recently retired Milan legend Paolo Maldini: “When we won the Champions League in Rome, I dedicated it to him because I hoped to convince him to play with us, but unfortunately I couldn’t do it.”
