Later today AC Milan have the opportunity to get back on top of the table with the home match against Bologna. This time they have a good chance of staying there, as current leaders Juventus face a tricky match away to Roma on Monday.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri spoke about various topics in today’s press conference, starting from the draw against Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League in midweek.

“Clearly we cannot concede certain goals, especially near the end of the match,” he said to Repubblica.it. “Let’s hope these errors aren’t repeated and that it’s a good omen for tomorrow’s match against Bologna. Also in the first half we weren’t cold enough, we could have scored more goals than the ones by [Alexandre] Pato and Robinho.

“From now until the break we have three matches, that means nine points at our disposal, we have to try to give our all. I’m sure that Napoli and Udinese will also compete for the Scudetto, aside from Juventus, who will fight until the end. We know Bologna are a good team, they also showed it against Juventus.”

On the transfer market, Allegri said: “The most important thing is to think about the matches ahead: during the break we will evaluate things together with the club. It’s always better to have champions instead of having them play against you, if [Carlos] Tevez arrives he will join a world-class strikeforce. It will be the best in the world if he arrives.”
