The Tuscan derby awaits for an under-fire Fiorentina side, who have just one win in their last six. The last meeting between these sides ended in a goalless draw, but Viola coach Delio Rossi will need more to ease the pressure on his shoulders. Gianni Munari is suspended, while the injured Khouma Babacar and Houssine Kharja (international duty) are unavailable. The biggest blow for Rossi could see him without star man Stevan Jovetic, with the Montenegrin international struggling with thigh strain picked up in last weekend’s draw with Cagliari. Fiorentina have fallen to 14th in Serie A, with just five wins all season.
Giuseppe Sannino’s side continued their impressive form at home by holding Napoli to a draw last weekend. However, their away form is abysmal, failing to win a single game while only being able to muster up four goals in nine games. Siena remain just four points above the drop-zone, but know that a win would see them join their opponents on 22 points. Luca Rossettini returns from suspension, while first-choice Zeljko Brkic is close to a full recovery but may not be risked this weekend.
