Francesco Lodi has stated he is happy at current club Catania, and has no reason to move away.
Reports speculate Genoa are interested in luring the free-kick specialist to the Marassi in this transfer window.
Lodi joined the Sicilian outfit last January from Empoli. But the 27 year old midfielder is enjoying life in the south.
“I am happy in Catania, and have no reason to move” Lodi commented.
Since joining Catania, Lodi has scored some crucial goals, most notably against Juventus with his trademark free-kick, earning Catania a last gasp point with the final kick of the game.
Most recently he also scored another fantastic free-kick in Catania’s 2-0 win over neighbours Palermo.
