Lazio succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against AC Milan at the San Siro in the Coppa Italia quarter-final on Thursday night, but the game will likely be remembered for a more repugnant reason.
During the game Biancoceleste defender Andre Dias swung a punch at Mark van Bommel, leaving the Dutchman flat out on the ground.
Fortunately for the 32-year-old Brazilian, the referee and his assistants all missed the incident and he stayed on the park, not even receiving a booking.
