AS RomaReports from Boston, USA,  claim that NBA all-star Kevin Garnett is to become an investor in Roma.

The Boston Celtics forward is a well-known fan of football and is keen to hold a  minor stake in the club.

Any involvement from Garnett  would need to be approved by the NBA and would see a similar situation that Premiership side Liverpool have with LeBron James from the Miami Heat.

Garnett plays football as part of his conditioning program in the off-season and is friends with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

AS Roma re currently owned by American businessman and Boston Red Sox partner Thomas Di Benedetto and his group also includes the Celtics owner James Pallotta.
