Roma are currently enjoying their best spell under Luis Enrique, with three wins and a draw in their last four outings. Last weekend saw their game away at Catania abandoned due to torrential rain, with the score locked at 1-1 with the remaining 25 minutes to be played next month.
The Spanish tactician is still without the injured trio of Burdisso (cruciate ligament), Cassetti (achilles) and Osvaldo (thigh), while there is also a doubt over the fitness of Daniele De Rossi, who is struggling with a back injury. Fabio Borini is likely to complete the attacking-trident ahead of Bojan.
Daniele Arrigoni was boosted by the news this week that star man Adrian Mutu will be available for the trip to Rome after recovering from a injury sustained in last weekend’s win over Novara. The former Romanian international has been in fine form in recent weeks and will be integral to Cesena’s hopes of escaping the bottom three, with Siena just three points above. Both Martinho (hamstring) and Malonga (thigh) are injury doubts, while new signing Vangelis Moras should feature.
