Brescia may only currently be sitting ninth in the Serie B so far this season but they have got something to celebrate right now after  last nights 0-0 home draw with S.S. Juve Stabia they equaled a thirty year club record of 540 minutes with-out conceding a goal.

This is no mean feet especially in Serie B this season where attack seems to be the best form of defence with teams like free scoring  U.S. Pescara storming the league, most of the plaudits have been given to their goalkeeper Michele Arcari after some impressive performances.

However, Arcari told the officail club web site, “I did not do any stunt or miracle.

“Just now the team is stronger in all departments, and the results are obvious. The streak we’ve strung together, has increased the esteem of all. We must continue on this path now and do not stop. ”

The team looks like it has found a good patch of form after they suffered four home defeats out of five, conceding three goals each time in three of them  before this six game unbeaten run.

In a high scoring league defence certainly looks to be the key for Brescia.
