As Lazio prepare for their weekend encounter with Palermo, Coach Edy Reja has admitted that he is “seriously concerned”.

“It becomes difficult to work when you are changing two to three players every week.” Said Reja.

As it stands the Biancocelesti are missing key first team players such as Christian Brocchi, Stefano Mauri, Andre Dias and Stefan Radu. Also on the sidelines are Guiseppe Biava and Abdoulay Konko, while Mobido Diakite is serving a ban.

Bosnian International Senad Lulic is also missing while January signing Emiliano Alfaro is still on the sidelines.

Edy Reja has also stated that “I hope there are two or three major purchases in the next transfer window”.

It is evident to the fans that money needs to be spent in order to compete against Europe’s elite, with a squad this thin Reja will struggle to guide his team towards a higher position than last year.
