The cold weather is taking it’s toll on Serie A as two matches were postponed for the latest round of fixtures.

So we may see some teams with more than one player in this week’s list as the choices were slimmed down a bit.

There were still plenty of exciting matches this week, so let’s take a look at this week’s top ten.

10. Gianluca Pegolo (Siena) – He made two fantastic game winning saves against Miralem Pjanic in the first half, and again against Fabio Borini in the second half to ensure Siena walked away with three points.

9. Giuseppe Biava (Lazio) – The defender did well to find Kozak with an assist that helped win the match in an exciting comeback win for Lazio.

8. Michael Agazzi (Cagliari) – Palermo looked pretty strong in the first half and also in the last ten minutes as they were chasing an equalizing goal. Agazzi stood firm for his team and his saves helped them earn a much needed three points and a three game unbeaten streak.

7. Ezequiel Lavezzi (Napoli) – Turning the Chievo defense inside out with his speed and skill on the ball. A great performance from the Argentinian striker who linked up well with Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani all through out the match.

6. Libor Kozak (Lazio) – They were down to ten men and two goals behind in the first half. The team came back with a vengeance in the second half and Kozak scored the game winning goal that keeps Lazio in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

5. Andrea Caracciolo (Novara) – Most fans expected Inter to win this match at home. However, someone forgot to tell Andrea Caracciolo as he scored the only goal of the game and gave Novara fans something to brag about this season.

4. Stephan El Shaarawy (Milan) – The Milan attack has been dealt a tough blow with injuries and red cards for star players. However, this youngster seems to be making a name for himself, and a goal and an assist will definitely get him on Massimiliano Allergri’s radar.

3. Mauricio Pinilla (Cagliari) – Opened the scoring with a fantastic goal and then assisted with a goal to Daniele Dessena that proved to be very crucial.

2. Pablo Barrientos (Catania) – He had a fantastic game against Genoa, who have been on the rise lately. He scored two goals within three minutes of each other in the second half that sealed the win for Catania.

1. Maxi Lopez (Milan) – The team came to life after he came on the pitch as a substitute. He tied the match up and gave Milan the air they needed to get back into the game and later take all three points.
