Silvio Berlusconi wants Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola to replace Massimiliano Allegri as coach of AC Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The Rossoneri president is a keen admirer of the Blaugrana coach and a souring of the relationship with Allegri, along with Milan’s poor form has prompted action from the club.

According to the Corriere della Sera, the move will be financed personally by Berlusconi, who wants Milan to play a similar brand of attacking football Guardiola has implemented at the Camp Nou.

However, one problem would be the tempestuous relationship between, the Rossoneri’s main player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Guardiola.

The pair famously never saw eye-to-eye during the Swede’s time in Spain, with Ibrahimovic revealing the extent of their bad relationship in his recent autobiography.
