AC Milan have apparently asked Manchester City about the possibility of taking Aleksandar Kolarov on-loan next season.

The Serbian international has found himself edged out of the City first team by Gael Clichy and may well be back in Serie A soon as Inter and Juventus are also thought to be interested.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the 26-year-old is frustrated at Eastlands and may seek to move on but with money being an issue with Milan, they may only be able to move for the player on loan.

Kolarov made just 12 appearances for the Premier League champions in the competition last season.

I thought AC were a big club? Shouldn’t they be buying players and not looking for cast off’s from other clubs?
