Serie A was as eventful as ever with a whole host of magnificent moments thought the season. We had Sulley Muntari’s ghost goal, Delio Rossi’s assault on Adem Ljajic and even Amauri managed to get on the scoresheet.

However at the end of the day Juventus were top of the pile come the end of the campaign and even managed to remain unbeaten for the whole season, a remarkable feat in itself.

But we must digress and reveal those who made it into Forza Italian Football’s Serie A team of the season 2011/12.

The Formation is 3-4-3 making full use of Serie A’s attacking talents seen this season.

Samir Handanovic

Andrea Barzagli – Thiago Silva – Francesco Acerbi

Andrea Pirlo – Arturo Vidal – Antonio Nocerino – Francesco Lodi

Antonio Di Natale – Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Sebastian Giovinco

Omitting Chiellini is bad enough, but omitting Buffon is sacrilegious! Blasphemy, I say!

  2. Vinnie says:

Good selection although I may have replaced Nocerino with Marchisio
