Giancarlo Abete, president of Lega Calcio confirms that he has not spoken to Juventus over the issues of adding third star on Juventus shirt next season.

The Old Lady believes that the 2011-12 Scudetto is the club’s 30th league title and will surprise fans adding third star on their jersey from next season, despite the Lega officially stripped their two Serie A titles.

“Agnelli said that there will be a surprise for supporters on the jersey? If it’s a surprise then I too await to know the contents of it,” Abete told reporters on Monday.

.However, the Calcio president claims that he has called Andrea Agnelli to congratulate them on behalf of the federation, for their title win and felt happy to see them rise again after some difficult times.

Lega Calcio President Giancarlo Abete confirms he has spoken to Andrea Agnelli since Juventus’ title win, but not about the third star.

“This morning I called Agnelli, we have not spoken about this issue, but I congratulated him in my role as President of the federation.

“Juventus’ return to the top is an important signal for all of Italian football, for what Juventus represents, for the moment of great difficulty that they experienced and for their ability to return to the top and hopefully, ultimately, also to good results at a European level.”
