According to Tuttosport, Fiorentina will have a manager by Wednesday at the latest.
In the coming hours, sporting director Daniele Prade will return to talk with Catania about Vincenzo Montella in spite of the fact that it seems as if the Rosazzurri have no intention of easily letting go of the ex-Roma striker.
The Viola’s main plan has been to bring Montella north after an extraordinary season in Sicily, however, should they fail to reach an agreement, Gianfranco Zola remains a credible alternative, notwithstanding the fact that at the moment nobody has been in contact with anyone in his entourage.
What’s certain is that Montella will not stay in Catania, with possible solutions in the form of Spezia’s Michele Serena, while they continue to like Atillio Tesser and Verona’s Andrea Mandorlini.
