AC Milan are thought to have held talks with former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, reports in Spain have said.

The Spaniard is currently out of work and is taking a break from the game after four years with the Catalan giants.

However, AS are reporting that representatives of the Rossoneri have held talks with Guardiola in a bid to work out a suitable path which will lead him to become Milan’s coach at the end of the season.

It is not the first time Guardiola has been touted for the hot seat as he was apparently contacted by Silvio Berlusconi at the end of last season
