Today’s highlights…

Paris Saint Germain’s proposed move for Milan pair Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva looks a step closer as it appears the Swedish striker has given the move the nod and agent Mino Raiola is set to meet with Leonardo today.

The Rossoneri are already lining up possible replacements for the striker should he leave with Carlos Tevez and Mattia Destro targets for the club with Dede and Davide Astori being touted as replacements for the Brazilian should he leave.

They face stiff competition from Roma if they are to move for Destro though as they are the frontrunners at the moment in the race for the 21-year-old although the Giallorossi are set to allow Marco Borriello to leave the club.

City rivals Lazio are looking to tie up one of their current stars by attempting to persuade Mauro Zarate to sign a new deal with the club.

Napoli have been quiet as yet on the incoming transfer front but after Walter Mazzarri reiterated the need for new signings with Udinese winger Pablo Armero a prime target but Juventus are also interested.

The Partenopei have also reportedly contacted Bologna regarding the availability of midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

Joining Ezequiel Lavezzi in leaving the San Paolo is Ignacio Fideleff who is on the verge of a move to Parma.

Juve wide man Jorge Martinez will be allowed to leave the club this summer and Genoa are believed to be favourites in the race for the former Catania man.

Another winger who has been deemed surplus to requirements for Antonio Conte’s men is Milos Krasic and he could be offered to Inter as a makeweight that could see Giampaolo Pazzini go the other way.

However, the Nerazzurri have lost out on one of their most promising youngsters as Marco Faraoni has left the club to join Udinese on a five year contract for an undisclosed fee.

They have though received good news in their attempts to prise Lucas from under the noses of Manchester United and they are now in the driving seat to secure his signature but look set to miss out on Corinthians’ Paulinho.

Speculation continues to mount that should the Brazilian arrive then Wesley Sneijder could well be allowed to leave the club and follow the same path as Samuel Eto’o by leaving the club for Anzi Makhachkala.

Inter also look set to permanently sign Andrea Poli after the player spent last season on loan at San Siro although Angelo Palombo will not be awarded with a contract.

Fiorentina have also finalised the purchase of Boca Juniors defender Facundo Roncaglia after the player agreed personal terms today.
