Today’s highlights…

The potential transfer that could bring Pablo Armero to Juventus from Udinese is edging somewhat closer to completion after his agent confirmed that the clubs are continuing to discuss a deal.

The English media are also today reporting that the Turin giants have resurrected their interest in Arsenal’s Robin van Persie by offering the London club £20m for the player and giving him a five-year deal worth £190,000 per week.
