Cagliari are will not be christening their new stadium this Sunday night when they take on Atalanta.
The game will take place at 20:45 and although the club have secured the Stadio Is Arenas as their new stadium, it will be played at the Stadio Nereo Rocco in Trieste where they played some of their games towards the end of last season.
The Rossoblu left their previous home the Stadio Sant’Elia to move across Sardinia this summer after disagreements with the local mayor amid concerns over its safety.
It is unclear then when they will be allowed to move into their new stadium in Quartu Sant’Elena across Sardinia.
