Celtic are in discussions to bring Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero to Scotland.
The SPL champions secured Champions League qualification o Wednesday after defeating Helsingborgs 4-0 on aggregate.
According to The Herald, Bhoys boss Neil Lennon has asked the club to bring in a two players with Del Piero thought to be one of them and they believe the lure of Champions League football will be enough to capture his signature.
Swiss club Sion have also maintained an interest in the 37-year-old, offering him a contract but he declined.
Sydney FC have also declared their interest in the former Italian international.
