Over the weekend it emerged that Lazio president Claudio Lotito was to meet up with Enrico Preziosi to talk player swap’s beside the Tuscan seaside. While many rumours seemed to be circulating, some have been made more accurate over the past 24 hours.

First there was talk of an exchange of 3-4 players from both sides, however, Cittaceleste report that one of the main objectives is to offload Giuseppe Sculli now that the betting scandal has cooled down. Sculli was loaned to Genoa in January but is owned by Lazio, and Lotito is looking for a return of €3 million on the striker.

Another strong rumour is that out of favour goal-keeper Juan Pablo Carrizo will also head to the port city, in an exchange deal for defender Andreas Granqvist.

It is also reported that the Rossoblu are interested in Matuzalem, and after his early pre-season antics, the Biancoceleste will be glad to get him off their books.
