After dropping out of the race to sign Brazilian starlet Lucas, Inter have started to look at alternatives.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nerazzurri coach Andrea Stramaccioni’s dream signing would be Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben, however, it is unlikely that the Dutchman would leave the German giants as he has just renewed his contract until 2015.

A more realistic option would be Bayer Leverkusen’s Andre Schurrle. The 21-year-old may be willing to test the market waters, and could be used by Inter as a backup to Diego Milito.

There is also Fabio Quagliarella, who could exchanged for Giampaolo Pazzini, and Catania’s Alejandro Gomez, both of whom are low-cost options.

Gaston Ramirez is another option, although Bologna are asking for at least €20 million, however Inter could send either one of Juan Jesus or Samuele Longo the other way.
