Roma’s director, Walter Sabatini is stepping up transfer activities in Brazil by trying to sign Sao Paolo defender Rhodolfo, according to Correiere dello sport.

The 25 year old Brazilian is valued at €10 million.

Also, rumors in South America suggest Sabatini has enquired about promising 21 year old Gremio defender, Saimon.

Saimon won the gold medal in the under 20 South American Championships.

Last year, both Inter and Milan were believed to be interested in the Brazilian defender.

The Giallorossi have also been monitoring Sao Paolo’s 21 year old central defender, Uvini Bruno to fill the void if Gabriel Heinze were to leave.

Sampdoria and Palermo are also interested in Bruno.
