Sampdoria have completed the signing of Denmark full back Simon Poulsen from AZ Alkmaar on a three year deal.
The 27-year-old, who had been linked with the likes of Ajax and Aston Villa, had been out of contract since his contract with the Dutch club expired.
He has trained with his new teammates today who will be in high spirits after yesterday’s win over Milan and will wear the number 15 jersey for the Blucerchiati.
