Today’s highlights…

Two new strikers are now being linked with a move to Juventus as talks with Fernando Llorente continue but should they fail to sign the Athletic Bilbao striker, they could make a shock move for Barcelona’s David Villa (denied by the club) or Oscar Cardozo of Benfica.

Fiorentina are adamant that they will sign another striker and it seems that the man top of their shortlist is Dimitar Berbatov as he beats out Marco Borriello and Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

Bojan Krkic of Roma has been linked with a move away from the Giallorossi all week and AC Milan have emerged as surprise contenders for his signature and say they will listen to any offers for Philippe Mexes.

Inter are looking for one more centre forward to add to their squad and the club will look to former Milan striker Borriello to once more return to San Siro.

Udinese are still looking to add to their squad before the end of the mercato and want to add cover for Zeljko Brkic by bringing in Daniele Padelli on loan from Sampdoria.

The Blucerchiati have completed a signing of their own this week by bringing in Danish full back Simon Poulsen from AZ Alkmaar.

The signing of Omar El Kaddouri by Napoli has seemingly ended their interest in Giandomenico Mesto from Genoa although they would still consider a loan deal for the player.

Bologna have completed what could be an interesting signing by taking 17-year-old striker Stefano Coraini who has been fantastic in the Lega Pro for Sambonifacese.

Reggina ace Antonino Barilla is still being chased by Cagliari who are set to make a final offer of €1.5m in a bid to secure the 24-year-old’s services.

Finally, Torino have identified two new targets for their midfield as they hope to further strengthen their squad by bringing in former Juventus man Sergio Almiron and Palermo’s Jasmin Kurtic.
