Today’s highlights…

After Juventus’ move for Dimitar Berbatov has apparently fallen through with the player now keen on Fulham, the Bianconeri’s number one target now seems to be Nicklas Bendtner of Arsenal on a season-long loan deal.

Michele Pazienza has also confirmed his move to Bologna while Federico Peluso will only arrive in Turin if the club can offload Reto Ziegler to Palermo.

AC Milan are now closing in on Nigel De Jong after the player expressed his interest in the move in what looks to be their final summer signing.

City rivals Inter look to be losing Douglas Maicon to Manchester City and have identified either Tommaso Rocchi or Sergio Floccari as they man they want to deputise for Diego Milito.

Giuseppe Rossi will not be on his way to Serie A after his agent told reporters that the Azzurri striker would not be moving back to the peninsula.
