Genoa have confirmed that Nicola Bignotti has taken over at the club as the new general manager.
He was at the Marassi on Sunday to oversee the Grifone’s game against Juventus and has slowly been making preparations within the club for his arrival.
Bignotti takes over from Pietro Lo Monaco who has departed but unlike his predecessor, will have no involvement with any transfer activity and will deal exclusively with other matters.
An economics graduate, he has previously worked with Lugano, Bellinzona and Albinoleffe.
