AC Milan defender Djamel Mesbah could be on his way out of Milan come January.

The Algerian international hasn’t been able to impress manager Massimiliano Allegri of his worth, and is being considered by Torino and Palermo.

With 19-year-old Mattia De Sciglio being ahead of Mesbah in the squad, it seems likely that the 28-year-old will move elsewhere.

Torino and Palermo were both looking for a low cost solution to bolster their defences this summer, but a deal was never finalized.

Now with the January window just a few months away, both teams are gearing up for another race for the experienced defender.

Palermo are looking to fill a spot on the defensive side after the departure of Federico Balzaretti for Roma in the summer.

Mesbah has only started one game for the Rossoneri this season.
