AC Milan are interested in signing Wolfsburg left back Ricardo Rodriguez in an attempt to solidify their troubled back line.

The Rossoneri are currently rotating between Luca Antonini and Kevin Constant at the position but appear to be intent on signing the 20-year-old Swiss defender as a long term solution at left back.

Rodriguez signed for Wolfsburg in January 2012 and made his first appearance for the club against Koln.

Despite signing a contract that runs until 2016, Calciomercato.com reports that the Rossoneri are looking to sign Rodriguez on loan in the January transfer window before making a decision on the player.

However AC Milan will have to move quickly as Arsenal and Dynamo Kiev have shown interest in the player and could be possible destinations if the player leaves Germany in January.

Rodriquez was part of the Swiss U-17 team that won the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. He has since gone on to make four appearances for the Swiss national team.
