Bari are now being investigated for two more games into the ongoing match-fixing case against them that has already seen former defender Andrea Masiello convicted and helping police with their investigations.

A 1-0 defeat to Treviso in May 2008 and a 3-2 loss against Salernitana one year later are now being looked upon and this could see then players Jean Francois Gillet, Andrea Ranocchia and then coach Antonio Conte having to testify, according to Tuttosport.

€1600,000 was believed to have been the figure paid for Bari losing the game in Salerno although not every player was involved in the scandal.

Current Torino star Alessandro Gazzi refused to participate and would not take any money although, according to Masiello, he knew about it as there was a meeting in the gym when all players were made aware of the agreement.

With regards to Conte, the players have insisted that the coach knew nothing of the fix, which may allay the fears of Juventini given his recent ban for failing to report such behaviour at Siena, with every player stating that he was kept in the dark about it.

It seems unlikely then that the Juventus boss will be charged again with one unnamed player even saying that Conte delivered a speech before the game in Salerno encouraging them to engage and try to win the game.
