Portuguese side Benfica are monitoring Inter and Arsenal target Etienne Capoue, as reported by the Correio de Manha.
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder is under contract with Toulouse until 2015.
It is rumored that the Nerazzurri are keen admirers of the Frenchman but his market value of €12 million and competition for his signature might deter them from making a move.
There is already strong competition for places in this position for Inter who already have Esteban Cambiasso, Fredy Guarin, Walter Gargano and Javier Zanetti who are all capable of performing in that role.
