After a sloppy start of the season AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has stated and confirmed that Massimiliano Allegri will be staying at the club.

Reports in the press in Italy has spread that the former Cagliari coach would get the axe after their Champions League defeat against Malaga, which was the club’s sixth loss in eleven games in all competitions.

Galliani was quoted to say on the Milan Channel, “We will continue with Allegri. We will go forward with him”.

“We must push on and we will emerge from this moment with this coach. I try not to speak too much, because I am constantly asked about this coach, but this is not our problem”.

Candidates for the job as coach at AC Milan, if things change, include current assistant manager Mauro Tassotti and former player Frank Rijkaard.
