Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler spoke about his team’s success against Udinese on Sunday.
The Partenopei bounced back after suffering a defeat in their Europa League match to beat a strong Udinese team 2-1.
Inler had a strong performance against the Friuli side, and spoke about the motivation obtained from the win that kept them level at the top of the table with Juventus.
“It was a very important result,” he said on Marte Sport Live. “We wanted to have a better start after the defeat in Holland, and we were able to do so.
“We beat a very good team, and Mazzarri prepared us extremely well in two days.
“Now we have the break, then the game against Juventus which will be a very special match for us and for our fans.”
The Swiss international arrived at Napoli from Udinese in May 2011.
