Pescara’s Giovanni Stroppa says that he refuses to listen to what the critics have to say about him or his team following a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to Atalanta.

The Adriatico outfit created very little throughout and the away side looked the likeliest of the two sides to break the deadlock.

Stroppa said afterwards: “I think we played well individually but it was disappointing that we also did not take our chances in the last few minutes of the game.

“I do not care what anyone thinks, the critics do not interest me and I am a man who always looks forward and can only thank my players for what they have done, they gave their all today.”

Pescara travel to Chievo on Wednesday night as Stroppa’s side look to convert their chances into goals.
